MOTUS builds robotic and automated systems for companies that make, move and check physical things. We are the robotics and automation company of AETHERON, based in Sri Lanka.
Why MOTUS exists.
AETHERON started as a software company. As our clients asked for help beyond the screen, with machines on the factory floor, we saw the same pattern again and again: good software held back by hardware that was hard to source, hard to integrate and hard to support locally.
MOTUS is our answer. It brings mechanical, electrical and software engineering into one team, so a project can go from an idea on a whiteboard to a machine running on your floor without being passed between vendors.
We are early, and we say so. We take on projects we can deliver well, we are clear about what is proven and what is a prototype, and we stay with the system after it is installed.
Software by AETHERON. Motion by MOTUS.
AETHERON designs and builds software: platforms, dashboards and data systems. MOTUS designs and builds the machines those systems talk to.
Working as one group means the controller, the data pipeline and the operator screen are designed together. You get one point of contact and one team responsible for the whole system.
